Eagle Project Delivers $6,000+ in Support to Landstuhl Fisher House

Eagle Candidate Steven of Troop 240 Vilseck recently demonstrated the power of Scout leadership by organizing a massive supply drive to benefit the Landstuhl Fisher House in Germany. This vital organization serves as a “home away from home” for families and patients receiving medical care at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, providing comfort and a place to stay during some of their most challenging moments.

Recognizing a critical need within the community, Steven motivated and led a team of Scouts to staff a donation station at the local Commissary. Under his direction, the team worked diligently to collect essential goods and monetary contributions while simultaneously spreading awareness about the Fisher House mission and its role in supporting our military families.

The timing of the delivery proved to be providential. The Landstuhl Fisher House reported that their pantry had begun to run dry due to both houses being at full capacity, with many families currently staying for a week at a time. Steven’s efforts resulted in over $6,000 worth of donations being delivered directly to the facility, ensuring that these families have the resources they need during their recovery and treatment. The Fisher House expressed their appreciation: “We’re thankful for his leadership and the meaningful difference he’s made.”
