Helping you tell everyone about TAC scouting!
Our mission is to strengthen connections across our Scouting community by sharing meaningful stories, promoting key initiatives, and supporting clear, consistent messaging throughout the Council. Made up of dedicated volunteers and subject matter experts from across our districts, the Communications Committee works to amplify the voice of Scouting, supporting recruitment, retention, and engagement while upholding the values of Scouting America. Whether you’re a Scout, parent, leader, or supporter, we’re here to help you stay informed, inspired, and connected.

Storytelling Tools and Recognition
In essence, every Scout meeting, service project, and campout tells a story. The more we share these stories, the more our communities understand and value the Scouting experience.
The TAC Scouting StoryTeller Award presented by the Communications Committee Chair recognizes Scouts and Scouters in the Transatlantic Council who creatively and effectively share their Scouting experiences through published storytelling. This includes articles, photographs, videos, podcasts, and public presentations that highlight the values and adventures of Scouting. Details and the submissions form can be found here.
We recognize our TAC Soaring Eagles publicly on our online media platforms. Share your Eagle Scout story by submitting this online form. Download the TAC Soaring Eagles recognition flyer here.
Additonal Resources - Virtual Flyers and Program Specific Flyers
We created flyers our units can use to promote Scouting in their community. These flyers are available in PDF and/or JPG format. You will find instructions on how to download them in a brief video here.
Newcomer Flyer: Letter-sized PDF file inviting youth to join Scouting. Ideal for any bulletin boards, school newsletters, etc.
Newcomer Military Base Flyers: Letter-sized PDF file specfic to Military Base communtities inviting youth to join Scouting. Ideal for any bulletin boards, school/unit/installation newsletters, etc. These flyers are not program-specific.
Program-Specific Flyers
You will find flyers in JPG format below. For each program (Cubs, Scouts BSA, Sea Scouts and Venturing), you may choose from a flyer with a small white bar on the bottom giving you the option of adding a call for action or your contact information or if you need more space, download the white space option which provides you with more space to include your unit(s) contact information and more.
