Camp Avantura Program
Some of our adventurous classes and activities include:
- Many traditional summer camp merit badge classes
- First Year program: ACE Program (the Accelerated Camper Experience)
- Stand up paddle boarding
- Kayaking
- Small boat sailing
- Watersports
- Motorboating
- various Arts & Sciences classes
- various Handicrafts classes
Camp Veli Joze
Camp Avantura is operated by the Transatlantic Council on Camp Veli Joze in Croatia right on the Adriatic Sea. We offer a full dining hall experience plus the option to tent camp or stay in cabins for both adults and youth. This is a waterfront property therefore there are many aquatic adventures just steps from the campsite. The dining hall is on the coast and offers wonderful views of the sea at every meal. All of our Aquatic based classes are held in the warm, clear waters of the Adriatic Sea.
Campership Application
Camperships are available for TAC Scouts with a financial need and desire to attend a TAC Camping program. The application form is available here. To be considered for one of the summer camps the online application must be submitted by 30 March 2026.
