Scouts gather to reflect on their faith.

During the Horizon District Camporee in Doha, Qatar, Scouts had a meaningful opportunity to live out the principle that “A Scout is Reverent.” On February 6, 2026, approximately 40 Scouts, including AOLs, Scouts, and Venturers, along with adult leaders walked about one kilometer from the campground to a nearby mosque to observe Scout Jumuah. The walk was intentional and meaningful, giving Scouts time to reflect as they moved together with purpose.

As the weekend continued, Scouts continued to gather to reflect on their faith.

In Vicenza, Italy, Troop 295B celebrated Scout Sunday, honoring faith, service, and the values that guide Scouts both on and off the trail.

In Wiesbaden, Germany, Pack 13 partnered with Scouts BSA Troop 107 to support both Protestant and Catholic services. Scouts greeted community members with smiles, assisted with the offering, shared the Peace Light, and demonstrated reverence through service.

Meanwhile in Stuttgart, Germany, Troop 44 marked Scout Sunday hosting a Scouts’ Own during their Introduction to Leadership Skills lock-in weekend. Outdoors, Scouts connected leadership, faith, and personal values, reinforcing that reverence is an essential part of becoming a leader of character.

The weekend’s worship services in the Transatlantic Council told one powerful story: Our Scouts may worship differently and live continents apart, but they are united by respect, service, and a commitment to living the Scout Oath and Law.
