Hunter Joins the Ranks of Eagle Scouts with Sustainability Project
Congratulations to Hunter on successfully completing his Eagle Board of Review earlier today!
Hunter’s Scouting journey began in North Carolina as a Bear in Cub Scouts, and since joining the Transatlantic Council in 2023, he has taken part in numerous memorable Scouting adventures. From historic experiences at Bastogne, Normandy, and Meuse-Argonne to the excitement of Klondike Derby, Camp Avantura, Camp Alpine (both as a camper and staff member), and Intercamp, Hunter has truly embraced the spirit of Scouting across borders.
Within Troop 44, Hunter has demonstrated leadership, serving as Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Senior Patrol Leader, and Junior Assistant Scoutmaster.
For his Eagle Scout Project, Hunter led an initiative to create compost bins for the U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart community. Supporting a newly renovated garden space, his project involved clearing and preparing the area, constructing three rotating compost bins, and removing old debris and unusable materials. These bins will provide sustainable compost to help the garden thrive for years to come, a meaningful contribution to the community and environment.
Hunter’s journey reflects perseverance, leadership, and a commitment to making a difference. We are proud to welcome him to the ranks of Eagle Scouts!
