Venturing Leader Rayna Bailey Receives National Honor
We proudly recognize Rayna Bailey as a recipient of the 2026 National Venturing Leadership Award (NVLA), honoring her exceptional service, leadership, and commitment to the Scout Oath and Law.
Hailing from Mozambique, Rayna is an active member of Crew 802 and serves on the Council’s Youth Advisory Committee. Since beginning her Scouting journey in 2019 as a founding Troop member, and later helping establish her Crew in 2021, she has embraced every opportunity to lead and serve.
An Eagle Scout and Brotherhood Order of the Arrow member, Rayna has made a meaningful impact at every level of Scouting. Her journey includes standout experiences such as the 2023 National Jamboree and serving on staff for Camp Kenya High Adventure in both 2022 and 2024.
Rayna’s dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm exemplify the very best of Venturing.
