How can I help? The third point of the Scout Law, and the core of what it means to be a commissioner. Every commissioner you meet, from Unit Commissioners all the way up to the Council Commissioner are volunteers dedicated to the success of your unit for your scouts. Our goal is to be trusted ears to seek advice and action so that everyone of you can have units that deliver the best scouting has to offer. Every commissioner has an experienced perspective, knowledge of helpful training, and connections with other scouters, that is part of our services to you. We’ve got a toolbox full of resources to help you solve a whole host of scouting issues you might run into. I was once a scout who benefited immensely from this program and I’m a volunteer because I want to help ensure that legacy of adventure and service is part of the experience for the next generation.
